EcoSure® Norovirus Control Program
The EcoSure Norovirus Control Program provides education, training and tools to help foodservice establishments protect their guests, employees and brand against norovirus. The program includes both outbreak prevention and incident response tools to help drive behavior change and minimize risk against foodborne illness. EcoSure partners with companies across the foodservice industry to educate managers on the risks, causes and best practices for norovirus prevention and response, and equips staff with essential information and practical tools to prevent and respond to a norovirus event.
“According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control (CDC), a significant portion of the contributing factors to foodborne illness center around personal hygiene and operational procedures,” said Dr. Ruth Petran, vice president of Food Safety and Public Health at Ecolab. “These new solutions help address those areas directly and help foodservice operations to develop and implement proven preventive controls.”
