For the last century, Ecolab has brought science and innovation to customer kitchens to make them cleaner, safer and more sustainable. Now, as the foodservice world gathers at the National Restaurant Association Show in Chicago, a just-announced partnership offers a glimpse into an exciting future.

California-based Miso Robotics today announced a new partnership with the world’s water, hygiene and infection prevention company, Ecolab. Together, the companies will develop next-generation automation solutions that will help foodservice operations achieve their hygiene requirements more efficiently.

"We are thrilled to have Ecolab as an investor and a strategic partner," said Buck Jordan, Chairman of the Board and Founder, Miso Robotics. "Ecolab's expertise and leadership in water, hygiene and infection prevention solutions and services are unparalleled, and we look forward to working together to create new value for our customers and the foodservice industry at large."

Miso Robotics was founded in 2016 with the idea that robots can eliminate dull, dirty and dangerous tasks in restaurant kitchens. The company created Flippy, the world’s first autonomous robotic kitchen assistant that automates the fry station for quick service restaurants. Today, Miso Robotics applies artificial intelligence, machine learning, computer vision and data analytics to create robots that make restaurants safer, easier and friendlier.

“For 100 years, Ecolab has been at the forefront of innovation designed to help foodservice customers achieve their operational and sustainability goals. As we look to the kitchen of the future, we are excited to partner with Miso Robotics, a pioneer in AI-driven automation for the foodservice industry and to support their vision of creating a better, safer and more efficient kitchen.”
