Ecolab Named a “Best Companies to sell For” for Eighth Consecutive Year
For the eighth consecutive year, Ecolab Inc., the world’s water, hygiene and infection prevention company, has been named to Selling Power magazine’s list of the Best Companies to Sell For, ranking 16 on the 2023 list. Ecolab’s inclusion in the list represents the 17th time in 20 years that the company’s sales-and-service team has received this honour.
“Our 25,000 dedicated sales-and-service associates are at the centre of Ecolab’s century of growth and positive impact,” said Darrell Brown, president and chief operating officer of Ecolab. “We believe ours is the best team in the industry, so we continue to develop and celebrate them accordingly. They deserve to be recognized for the way they work hand-in-hand with our customers globally to understand and address their most challenging operational, sustainability and business goals.”
The list encompasses companies of various sizes from medium to enterprise-wide sales teams. Selling Power evaluated companies across four key categories to determine the overall top 50 companies, including:
- Company Overview
- Compensation and Benefits
- Hiring, Sales Training and Sales Enablement
- Diversity and Inclusion
"As companies are facing economic headwinds sales organizations are sharpening their focus on sales talent. The Best Companies to Sell For have mastered the alignment of people, processes, and technologies and created a sales organisation that excels in hiring, onboarding, training, and compensation of their sales representatives,” said Gerhard Gschwandtner, founder and CEO of Selling Power.
“What attracts salespeople to work for these leading organizations is their great culture, their commitment to diversity, and their steady support of the sales team by servant leadership that focuses on creating customer value and a meaningful work environment that offers unlimited opportunities to win. These companies aim at a higher level of professionalism and trust, which in turn leads to increased sales and a lower turnover of the sales force.”
Ecolab’s 25,000 sales-and-service team, the industry’s largest and best-trained direct sales-and-service force, is critical to the company’s success. Every day, in more than 170 countries around the world, they help customers identify and solve their biggest cleaning, sanitizing, food safety, water and energy management challenges.
